If you work with computers or are a gamer, you must have browsed the internet for ideas on how to enhance your work setting at some point. And you may have felt awe and inspiration after stumbling upon some incredible setups. 

This is the feeling we at SMAL aimed to provoke in anyone who landed on the new Elgato landing page.

This kind of project requires a wide array of knowledge in the likes of UI/UX, photography, and web development. 

Covering all of these disciplines in our service portfolio allows us to deliver a holistic approach, ensuring the same level of attention to detail throughout all stages of the project.

We wanted to create a visually appealing page: a location where the user can spend "endless” time scrolling, browsing, and being inspired. 

We strived to make the content to be colourful, fresh, and represent a variety of different use cases, such as gaming setups, home office setups, creator's spaces, and so on. 

Our photo team, through clever use of different photo sets, backgrounds and hundreds of different props managed to bring this vision to life.

More than meets the eye: each setup is a clickable card that highlights the products in the photograph using interactive hotspots. 

To make sales even easier, the customer can add the desired products to their shopping cart immediately from the card, without having to navigate to the specific product page.

The webpage is intended to progressively fill up with content submitted to Elgato by users and content creators. One of the page's main advantages is its scalability, which we achieved by building a "endless waterfall" grid structure capable of holding images in any ratio, such as landscape, portrait, 16:9, square, and so on. 

And, if visitors arrive at the page with particular setup ideas in mind, they are welcomed by a filtering system to enable them conveniently navigate through the content that they are looking for.

In short, this project's success illustrates how efficient our holistic process is in managing complex productions while maintaining high quality at every stage.
