For the launch of their new revolutionary VR system called Omni One, Virtuix partnered with SMAL for asset production, web design and development.
From an engaging product trailer and a range of photo and video assets, to a fully responsive website ready for the start of the sales and with room for the future growth of the company, the collaboration between Virtuix and SMAL turned out to be a great success.
Redesigning the website was a multi-step process with several key objectives: delivering a powerful presentation of Omni One, creating a clean and modern design, and showcasing the gaming experience in a way that appeals to a broader audience. Additionally, the site needed to feature eye-catching buying options, a sleek checkout process, and seamless responsiveness to provide an exceptional mobile user experience.
The website redesign prioritized showcasing the new home VR system, Omni One. We expanded its presence on the homepage, featuring the new product trailer as a centerpiece to capture visitor attention and drive traffic to the product page.
The redesigned product page brings Omni One's features to life through professionally produced photos and videos. Interactive sections guide visitors through the VR gaming platform's ecosystem, demonstrating how each element contributes to the immersive home gaming experience.
The new design embraces a modern, clean aesthetic with light colors. This approach helps appeal to a broader audience beyond core gamers and ensures that the website looks up to date over time.
Due to the growing business needs, Virtuix needed more flexibility in content management while maintaining their old Shopify platform as their shopping cart. After thorough consideration, Virtuix and SMAL agreed on Builder.io as the best option.
We used our expertise in technology like React to help create interactive elements and make them work perfectly both on desktop and mobile. This responsiveness was particularly important for the client, as 70% of Virtuix users visit the website from mobile devices. Our implementation helped to ensure a smooth, responsive user experience that can adapt to the Virtuix business's evolving digital strategy.
Virtuix approached us with a clear objective for their visuals: to create captivating photo assets that would convey the excitement and immersion of the user experience with the Omni One. To achieve this, we meticulously planned our production process.
That included selecting the ideal locations to showcase the device’s features, casting models and actors who perfectly represented the target audience, and designing sets that enhanced the desired wow factor.
In parallel, the video production team worked on a product trailer. The main challenge was to highlight the Omni One’s unparalleled mobility and seamlessly blend the virtual and real worlds. We made this happen by inspiring actors to really get into the action and bring out their best energetic performances.
The end result? A set of assets that now enrich the newly redesigned website, and a trailer that has garnered over 550,000 views after a few weeks.
