This project involved three of our teams. The Industrial Design team took the lead in designing the packaging for all Hub devices, while the Visual Creation team provided captivating visuals for marketing assets and the visual design of the UltraHub app. Our dedicated UI/UX team is responsible for a great experience in the app and overseeing the development of the UltraHub app.

The packaging of the Ultra Hub product family represents a new packaging guideline SMAL developed for Vodafone. Since 2022, the modern and purpose driven guideline has already been implemented in a variety of products throughout the Vodafone product portfolio.
 A minimalistic design language, mostly abandoning the use of color and consequently relying on recycled cardboard reflects the brands focus on their environmental impact.

Our team also created a range of audio visual assets to support the launch. From a full product family video to shorter cutdowns for social media and static renderings - we created one cohesive visual world to give context to the product and show its benefits in visually abstracted scenarios. The main goal was set during the concepting phase; creating a warm, homey world that allows for the products to be presented in an abstracted, premium environment, all closely tied to Vodafone’s look and feel by prominently showcasing brand colors and elements. 

The Ultra Hub App empowers you with network control and delivers a seamless connected experience, no matter where you are. Setting up the app is a breeze, thanks to its seamless Bluetooth integration. Take advantage of its intelligent features like "Smart Modes" to prioritize your network usage for work, streaming, or gaming. Leveraging our meticulously crafted assets, we ensure a polished and premium user experience. We also establish a comprehensive design library in Figma and closely collaborate with the development team to oversee its development.
