Agile Robots, a leading provider of next-generation automation solutions, approached SMAL with the goal of launching its humanoid robot Agile ONE in a way that communicates technological excellence while remaining accessible and emotionally engaging. The challenge was to make complex robotics, hardware precision, and embedded UI systems understandable and compelling for a broad audience—without diluting the brand’s ambition or technical depth.

SMAL translated this challenge into a branded product experience built entirely through CGI storytelling. The team developed a cohesive visual language for the iF Design Award 2026-winning Agile ONE, including sophisticated textures, patterns, and interface animations that define the robot’s character and interaction logic. Through moodboards, styleframes, and animatics, SMAL established the cinematic look and feel, while iterating on UI animations for elements such as the eye and chest displays to balance clarity, personality, and technical credibility.

The result is a full CGI trailer and a comprehensive set of high-resolution renders that bring Agile ONE to life. Detail-driven visuals highlight hardware precision and intuitive UI interactions, turning technical complexity into an approachable and visually striking narrative. The assets support Agile Robots’ strategic goal of positioning Agile ONE as both an advanced and human-centered robotics platform—ready to be understood, trusted, and experienced.
